For any other retro gaming enthusiasts out there, with the latest firmware update to the Retrotink 5x, you can now use a Disney DVD remote to switch profiles. I bought one off eBay to get the codes so my entire setup is now voice controlled. Here is the github I setup so you can easily add the configuration to an esphome device or if you just want the NEC codes.
