A friend of mine has spent the last year creating an independent and anonymous polling/survey site. I’m posting on Lemmy as she’d like some traffic and even some feedback on the site. Feel free to take a look, leave her some feedback in the Report an Issue section and in general make yourself at home if you feel like it.
That seems like a lot of personal information required for sign up to this “anonymous” site
I don’t disagree, but it also came down to, how do you stop/limit bots from gaming the site?
I’m not sure, but for me that’s enough to not sign up without being forced into it by my employer or similar
The website requires a phone number to signup, that’s a firm no from me.
Its even asking for demographic information which is a lot of PII that should not be shared with literally everyone.
