I was thinking the same.
Github is so far behind Gitlab… it has had merge trains for a long time in general availability now. Gitlab’s project management has been very good too.
IMO Gitlab’s biggest problem has been embracing federation. They can’t seem to recognize how immensely useful it would be to them, developers, and orgs alike. It’s as if they don’t use their own software.
