Saw a post a while ago with some dude rescuing a bird trapped by its “nozzle”. English is a tricky language.

It could be worse. In Czech, it could probably be called kohoutek - little cock/rooster (originally the term describes the round thing you turn to open the valve, but it is sometimes used for the whole water tap assembly).
