You broke my anti Rick roll detections.
There is a pretty big gap between ad supported and standard. Wonder if ads actually makes up for the difference or if it’s just under priced to push people towards it. But seeing as ads are like cancer to me I don’t even consider that tier as existing. So 15.49 1080p 2 screen, or 22.49 I think for 4k 4 screens. I sit far enough away that I don’t notice the benefits of 4k and don’t need the extra screens so I just judge the value from the content and price. Honestly I’d rather just have everything on plex instead of jumping between services, but some stuff that family watches is hard to find. Sonarr has probably 100+ episodes of reality TV crap that won’t download as no seeders.
Edit: I see now the article is about Australia. And the price is higher, but converting to USD the new price is still less than US $15.49 which I feel is fair. It costs me about $13.50/month in electricity for plex.
How is the standard plan a bad value? It’s $15.49 for 1080p no ads. I dropped 4k a while ago because they went stupid on the price, and I will never use ad supported. If they made the ad tier free, I’d still pay the $15.49/month. Standard plan hasn’t been hit with the last several price increases, which is why I still think it’s a good value, and why I’m still subscribed.
I’m sure with the way things are going Netflix will end up pushing me away eventually, but they haven’t yet. Dropping standard would cause me to cancel. I also have the Disney/Hulu bundle for $20 and plex for anything else. I could easily get anything on Netflix on plex.
Wasn’t it in for stick replacement? Why do they need to fix a microscopic blemish that has nothing to do with the repair?
I unfortunately went with them fairly recently for a video card now that EVGA is no longer making them. I would have picked something else if I’d seen the crap before.
Sounds like personal use amounts though. One of Marijuana and the other meth. I can understand impounding the car and having to pay the also a crime tow amount. But to just take the car, when it’s not being used to traffic drugs is complete BS.
So basically the single player offline game made bank, but they keep pushing this live service crap thinking it’s going to be the next GTA online and not what 90% of the live service crap ends up being.
Doesn’t really sound like a job but ok. I guess I also wouldn’t do anything that would likely kill me. Like sherpa everest.
Nothing. Give me a million dollars a day I’ll do any legal job there is. I’d retire after a day or seven depending on the job, but you could absolutely pay me enough to do any job.
Almost didn’t buy it due this, but ended up getting it on PS5. Refuse to use epic even for their free games.
Google data mines the fuck out of me, even with all my blocking of ads. So yeah I think YouTube without ads is fair trade for all the money they’ve made off my data. They don’t get my money as well as being able to do whatever they want with my data.
Ublock origin + sponsorblock on Firefox or revanced on mobile is still working fine for me.
If you need to ask, you probably don’t know enough to keep yourself anonymous. But it starts with tails, tor and not doing anything stupid like reusing user names that you use on the clear web or signing into something like Facebook. If a nation state has reason to find out who you are, they most likely will. All it takes is one little mistake that you most likely didn’t even know was a mistake.
Great idea. But jails are expensive, you have guards and such you have to pay. Maybe a small house, like a tiny one. Where they can come and go, and maybe find a job and start paying taxes.
So why should I stay away? Is it because a couple of divers died? Or maybe because it’s on private property and you aren’t going to tell me where it is. But how do I know where to avoid if you don’t tell me?
They can sure figure it out to bill me. But monitoring my data usage was too hard, so I switched providers. Lucky me, I have exactly one other to choose from, but at least they don’t have caps.
Ars article was posted on the 10th. This was taken on the 11th.
This is some bullshit if this is in compliance. I had to enter my address for the quote, still doesn’t show what the fucking taxes are, or real price.
Edit: Not in compliance “The labels must include any additional monthly charges, one-time fees, early termination fees, and taxes.” filed fcc complaint. Fuck Comcast.
Depends on whether they start making shows with ad breaks in mind. Because the cut where the ad was, while not nearly as annoying as an actual ad, still diminishes the quality of the show imo.
