Yeah, I’m friends with 2, we were in a poly relationship and I quit. My mentall health was awful which was affecting my relationships with them, so I distanced away for like 2 years. Now we speak regularly, share some news and stories, they even wanna invite me to their wedding, I’m so happy for them🥹

2·1 month agoThat’s a valid thought, but I guess the starting point matters less if the characters becomes a yandere eventually. I noticed though, most tsundere characters don’t devolve to become yanderes, it mostly happens to dandere types(which I might be mixing up, cuz I’m not sure) the ones that are interested and friendly towards MC from the start🤔
Gorgeous! Really love the way you blended the sky and trees together, looks very lifelike. Admittedly, I first thought this was a traditional painting, so the fact that you can do this in digital really impresses me. Kudos for using Krita!

3·1 month agoYeah, fits the definition, and generally that’s a common development for yandere characters

Art Share🎨@lemmy.world•Hey fellas and felletes and everyone out or in between. I don't do art but I'd like to start, what's something cheap, approachable, and something that I can do with my hands on paper or physical mediaEnglish
1·2 months agoYou could try acrylic markers, they have a feel like markers, but are also similar to painting with a brush, depending on the kind your get. The only issue would be in texture and color picking, because the palette is limited no matter how many of them you buy, which can be turned into an opportunity to develop creativity, but do it at your own accord. The reason why I’m suggesting them is because they’re easier to use immediately and getting yourself used to drawing/painting on regular basis, plus experimenting with colors and learning to abandon the fear of making mistakes. Also, sorry, I just realized you want something like crayons, in that case pastels are way to go for sure, but just know that you have plenty plentyyyy of mediums and tools to try, don’t limit yourself to just one kind! ;p
Edit: accidentally typed “kicking” instead of “picking”
Thanks!

Beautiful. I absolutely adore the sketching and shadow lines, and the anatomy is just so wonderful. Great job!
