Where’s your “Russian communism” now? Stalinism is dead, irrelevant current stillborn from the rotting corpse of the third international and and Russia doesn’t pretend to be communist anymore in case you haven’t noticed. Don’t let that get in the way of your LARP though.

Who said anything about “morals” or “totalitarianism”? I certainly didn’t. The Stalinist errors and its distortions of Marxism are graver than moralist whinging about totalitarian states.

at best is superficiality, at worst it is pacifism. Whoever insists on that comparison can be considered a democrat, but in truth and deep down in his heart he is already a fascist, and of course he will only fight fascism in an apparent and hypocritical way while he leaves all his hatred for communism

Stalinists and their million derivatives, who applaud fully developed capitalist regimes, are more democrat than democrats are. What they really desire is not communism but an idealistic state-form of capitalism - a petty bourgeois shopkeeper’s fantasy world where Capital has finally been “tamed”. They don’t understand capitalism or fascism in the least and the ones who stumble into power only ever end up playing into the hands of global Capital and against the international working class.
