Do they? They have a ton in common. They are conservatives. They wear clown make-up. Their primary diet is fast food and soda. They believe in magic. They think scientists are liars. And their followers are loud, white, rotund misogynists and homophobes who glorify violence.
ICP would be the perfect soundtrack for Trump if not for actual circus music existing.
I’m not really a fan of the ICP, but any source on them being conservative? I’ve never seen much made of them being very political one way or the other, although I got the impression they were not fans of trump.
As far as their followers, loud sure, and largely white, and certainly lots of fat people, but also lots of really skinny dudes, but I’d kind of say they’re a bit of a mixed bag. There’s some very loud assholes, but the majority of jugalos I’ve met have been pretty amazing people, just kind of weird and often not very bright. Kind of like how I wouldn’t classify punks or metalheads as overall racist because Nazi punk and metal communities exist, I wouldn’t really paint the jugalos as violent or misogynistic as a whole because some groups are.
Mostly I tend to think of jugalos as those weird kids from high school who weren’t smart enough to be nerds. Some are potential school shooters, but most are just kind of marching to the beat of their own drum and making do with what they got.
I looked it up and while they haven’t really talked explicitly about politics they did have a song called “fuck your rebel flag” where they tell people with confederate flags that they’re racist…
If anything they strike me as people who would be centrists or third party or apolitical and thinking that all politics sucks and are the same.
They definitely have a non insignificant percentage of conservative fans though.

They’re conservatives? I had no idea.

I’m not sure they are; chatter is just assuming that juggalos = bad people = GOP I think.
Unless there’s some shit I’m unaware of
