The Framework Laptop 16 is a high-performance laptop with an upgradeable and completely modular design that allows endless options for configuration, including a fully reconfigurable input deck and modular discrete graphics.
If you want to keep the whole laptop 16 the same, including dimensions but just want to change the display, you’ll just end up having more bezels and wasted space.
If you’re hoping for a new form factor optimized around 16:9, who knows if that would come out, but I have a feeling the narrow laptop form factor would have reduced size for the battery, and other components which seem like an undesirable tradeoff.
Only alternative I could imagine making potential sense would be a 17in+ version in 16:9?
But they are all unlikely, I would imagine. Sorry.
