The move to ban gender-inclusive language in all official documents and public administration comes as the far-right libertarian continues to implement his socially conservative agenda.
Depends on the “they” you’re talking about. Some conservatives like the name “libertarian” because it gives them air cover to like things like sex and drugs. Although, there are libertarians put their who border on anarchist, and basically want institutions out of most everything public and private.
Occasionally, you can find the actual right-libertarian, but they won’t be that for very long. They either go full authoritarian once they find “self-help”, turn into boring liberals, or become left-libertarians.
When I used to be right-wing, I believed in a world, where people will have democracy at their workplaces, and people will finally do away with work-moralization (I’m from a former Eastern Bloc country, and gulags and mandatory labor reinvented the protestant work ethics).
2020’s libertarians aren’t very libertarian, are they?
They never were. Libertarianism is a more or less a fake ideology that is, in practice, just a thin veneer over garden-variety conservatism.
People who actually care about being staunch defenders of individual liberties call themselves liberals because that’s what the word means.

The funny thing is the ones that say “fuck all this” and go build a cabin in the woods are turning into left-libertarians but don’t even know it.
