    It should be repealed regardless. It’s Victorian moralistic bullshit that has no place in 2024.

    And these assholes who fly ‘fuck Biden’ flags on their truck are constantly complaining about children being exposed to obscenity.

        I was thinking the 72 days they had that fillibuster-proof Senate majority during the Obama presidency.

        Since the Comstock Act would have been obsolete at the time, before Roe v Wade was overturned, it should have been a formality.

        …And they were busy getting ObamaCare passed, for which I am eternally grateful…

        But… Democrats…

          I agree they should have codified it. They had since 1973 to do it.

          In the end, I think the dems miscalculated and never thought the republicans would actually kill their golden goose; abortion was a major sticking point for single-issue voters. Hindsight is 20/20.

        Uh, yeah they would. Republicans and their general… hatred of mankind are already a pretty good motivator. It’s not like there’s any leftists to compete with them either, Americans are scared of those.
