A fresh Steam Beta Client has been released for Desktop and Steam Deck, with a few fixes and upgrades and the change for Steam Families is especially nice.
It does have to be in the same country. I don’t think it has to be the same wifi network, although Valve does say that it’s intended for people in a single household so they might change requirements later.
