Also, people aren’t going to turn to people that did nothing to oppose fascism to rebuild their society after it was destroyed by fascists. People will say “you were right about that Trump guy.” They won’t out of nowhere say “you were right about this socialist thing, by golly I wish I did nothing to stop fascism like you did!
