Huge, huge fan of grindhouse and exploitation films. I’m primarily a classic horror guy in my orientation, so a lot of my grindhouse favorites tend to be like early slashers (TCM, Black Christmas, Halloween), early Wes Craven films, Italian giallo imports and low budget Roger Corman-produced films.
That said everything from blaxploitation to ozploitation produced a lot of gems too.
You’re mentioning so many awesome (types of) movies. Gialli were a big obsession of mine a couple years ago; I watched tons of them. I especially dig the racier ones. ;)
There’s so much good stuff out there that the general moviegoing public sadly will never know about. Films by Joe D’Amato, Jess Franco, Jean Rollin, the list goes on and on. I love it all!
