Yeah, welcome to Lemmy. Personally, I believe that any donation matters. And if you wish to use crypto currency for that it’s a completely legitimate thing to ask for. They couldn’t have the option and that’s totally their choice 🤷🏻♂️
However, I see no harm in asking for it politely.
