I know this isn’t Android per se. But Google has now opened up Pebble OS. And it seems like there will be a pebble revival. I just want a pebble time round 2.

Garmin Fenix 7. Non-OLED model. I get about 17 days. Granted, there may be cheaper options, but since the 7 is discontinued now you can find good deals.
Can you run your code on it?
It’s no Pebble, but they do have an SDK and you can build locally and there is an app store. https://developer.garmin.com/
