i just moved in with a roommate who’s barely ever home and I’ve done more cleaning in the last 2 months than I have in 5 years lol
she’s not even a neat freak but my brain is like “we have to keep the apartment tidy because another human lives here.” my mean fuckin brain… I’m a human too why didn’t I deserve a clean apartment when I lived alone ;_;
When I lived alone I ended up airbnbing my spare room. It was sometimes stressful, but it meant my house was constantly tidy. As soon it was just me the entire house would sink in to madness.
I lived with a friend for a month while he didn’t have a place, my apartment has never before or after been so clean. I guess it’s because I don’t want other people see how messy I am, so I end up being not messy.
Solution that somehow worked out for me: Moving together with friends :P
