Nope, not a huge deal at all. Still don’t feel any recoil when using the breaker.

Kroger and Safeway are unionized
Nintendo is now saying that they aren’t planning to do another game in the BotW/TotK style, saying that they consider TotK to be the final form of “that version of Zelda”

Creating fake child porn of real people using things like Photoshop is already illegal in the US, I don’t see why new laws are required?
The vehicle was empty, it wasn’t carrying anyone.
To earn revenue, the company is selling carbon removal credits to companies paying a premium to offset their own emissions. Microsoft has already signed a deal with Heirloom to remove 315,000 tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
And this is why direct air capture is a farce right now - any progress they make is literally counter acted by large corporations who will increase their carbon output because they have a contract with a company like this.
Carbon air capture technology paired with 100% clean energy can save the world from a lot of hardship in the near future, but not like this.
You did not understand my comment very well. Beans and rice are great staple foods, I love them. A well rounded diet involves more than just beans and rice.
It’s so sad how many posters would rather blame OP for spending an extra dollar on better bread and veggie patties rather than actually acknowledge the blatant price gouging on food. The idea that everyone should only be buying the cheapest ingredients is just stupid. No one is living a fulfilling life eating nothing but cheap beans and rice everyday, and food prices have been ridiculous for a while now.
These are the small moments that define a relationship. Your gf wants to have a quiet morning browsing her phone and you want to have a conversation. It is up to you if that is ok or not - your relationship should make you happy. You can decide that you are happy to give her a quiet morning, or you can decide that it makes you feel too weird and find a new relationship with someone that you are more compatible with. Every relationship involves compromise but only you can decide what compromise is right for you.
Thanks for pointing out that typo, I fixed the credit amount
Lots of misunderstanding in these comments. Google Fi service is not going anywhere, Google is not cancelling any services. The Pixel Pass is basically just a bundle of optional services that can be added to your Fi account for a very slight discount. You do not get a free phone, you get interest free financing on your phone. Because they are cancelling the Pixel Pass Google has given me $100 credit towards my next phone, which is a better deal than the Pixel Pass itself.
Like many people I’m not happy with a lot of things Google has been doing lately, but the Pixel Pass being cancelled is not important.

It’s because they take the value of the shows they remove and mark them down as a straight loss, it’s a ridiculous loophole. They are literally saying, “I have this thing that’s so valuable, but I ‘accidentally’ threw it away, it’s worthless now, I need to mark this down as a loss.” They are destroying their own products for tax purposes.
The Discovery channel boss started this trend when he cancelled that Batwoman movie, and now other streaming corps are following suit. Hopefully the law will catch up to prevent this kind of trickery, but for now it seems they are doing everything they can to reduce costs because they rushed to steal Netflix’s lunch without a solid business plan.
And yet their stock dropped massively after revealing the 5 million gain because investors realize that it was a one time boost that won’t help them in the long run.
If I’m understanding correctly, you’re saying you don’t see the trend of office real estate losing value? This might be a problem mostly for the US, but Manhattan real estate is definitely struggling. There’s also the company WeWork, which is basically AirBnB for office spaces, which is now on the brink of collapse.. WeWork had bought up so much office space for renting out that US banks are legit concerned over what happens if the business fails.
You go ahead and enjoy your wine, I promise I won’t respond to any further comments on this post as I find it disappointing that a community based around calling out stupidity can’t discuss some light hearted pushback against the logic in the post. Have a great Sunday as well!
I don’t consider my comments combative at all. Tone is hard to read through text, perhaps my tone is just too relaxed and overly familiar? My questions are light hearted and intended to foster discussion. Questions are better for inviting discussion than statements, in my opinion.
I’m not being rude or argumentative, I’m just relaxing on a Saturday morning and communicating by asking questions. Are questions rude and argumentative?
We could have had Darth Icky, if only more people could recognize George’s genius
