Fuck scientific publishing. Well overdue to get replaced but it just doesn’t happen because everyone hate/loves impact factors and citation metrics too much.

Well, that’s on the guy. Plenty of games run with no internet.
That guy is a made up story. No more, no less.
Edit: oh my, so much salt. Just keep downvoting me if it makes you cope better with the facts. It’s OK.
Nice. Could be useful if any of you are interested in living/studying in Norway. Since its still not EU, status of how easy that is can change. Also it is a pretty country.
Is this one of those “1/37th of me is Norwegian” stories from the US based on 23andme results?
Sure, but that wasn’t the question here.
Which has two sides to it. It is very hard to get antibiotics unless there is a clear sign of a specific infection going on, e.g. after a tick bite those red circles on the skin.
In any other case just having high fever for a bit does not prompt doctors to check for bacterial infections. Instead they ask you how long you got that fever and if you say anything lower than 6/7 days they simply tell you to come back after 6/7 days if the fever isn’t gone still. Only then they run a blood test and prescribe antibiotics, should you have a bacterial infection.
I understand the idea but you could probably test much earlier and give the antibiotics, if useful, earlier so that people can avoid feeling miserable for just a few days instead of a whole week. It also just prompts people to lie about how long they’ve been sick, just in case.
“Unsafe conditions” would have not been on my bingo card for this.
There’s also that one episode where it comes out that fast warp travel damages the universe and they need to be slower than a certain warp to not damage it. But in good old TNG fashion this is never referenced again in the future.
It’s Hotwheels man, this is a high grade present. And who doesn’t love the ol’ commish? Happy hotwheeling Christmas!
Thanks for taking time to write this, I think I got it now!
I installed it and was not quite sure what option means what, then found this tidbit on the git pages of the plugin:
The PowerTools has an important limitation over the Steam Deck firmware version, though: it only works while the screen is on.
https://git.ngni.us/NG-SD-Plugins/PowerTools/wiki/FAQ
So unless I misunderstand this I am not sure this is useful when docked since the screen is off, unless in Desktop mode where I am also not sure if this plugin would actually be active?
I see, thanks for the tip, I already got Decky on it so I’ll check out that plugin.
So it does charge above 90% when docked, but does not actually use the battery above that? Because I definitely see the battery charging when I have my SteamDeck OLED docked, would be nice to change that though, I guess I need to look into those plugins.
Disagree again but seems the down votes are against me so I guess that’s just me. You brought up two different issues here, mobile controls and a save/edit system, which maybe can “fix” mobile controls for you but it a much more wide ranging implementation that completely changes how the game as a rogue-like works. So yes, you are saying the dev doesn’t care in multiple ways, not just mobile controls.
Your thread also this seems to be a 50/50 split between people having the issue and people not having the issue, which does make it more difficult to address as well. And I guess your “dev doesn’t care” statement came from Evan not replying there?
Disagree. This was a mobile first game and calling Evan a dev “that does not care” is a huge understatement. Playing a rogue-like and asking for a way to edit a save the game or undo an action doesn’t sound to me like you’ve played rogue-likes much.
I have been playing this since over a decade on a multitude of phones and tablets, yes, you can mistap. Not denying that, but its not so bad that this game would become in any way unplayable. You just got to be careful.
If you can handle frustration or know that a rogue-like is for you: Shattered Pixel Dungeon
I recently started playing Hyper Light Drifter, really like it, lots of fighting, shooting. Oldschool pixel graphics.
