So many things, too many to count. Been revisiting things pretty regularly with my partner and the ones that don’t make me cringe are really rare. Things I adore are unwatchably sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or creepy.

Whelp, that’s awful
Very strange article. It starts by saying more than his stance on Israel put him under water, but then proceeds to quote nothing but Israel supporters to defend that point.
Biden really needs to be more careful that the final reports that his administration presents actually resembles the expert opinions it is allegedly based on
He could also have not lied in the report that would have legally mandated stopping shipments
Homie, you can’t always tell if it will be always online before you buy it. Game companies are notorious for hiding things like that and microtransactions in the pre-release versions, so many people who buy those games don’t know they are always online, or believe that they are confirmed to not be. Nevermind the ones that go back and change old games to add in shitty proprietary launchers a few years after release.
Thats called a vice presidential debate
I know there at least used to be gas powered airsoft guns that had minor ‘recoil.’ I don’t know if there’s anything particular about them that makes them bad for filming, maybe just the lack of real force on the shooters wrist/shoulder.
We have not in fact always done better

This feels like a cheap throwaway after he shut the border to asylum seekers. Just papering over his own little fascist border policy
EDIT: just want to be clear its good he’s doing this, it just strikes me as particularly insincere right after the other border news.
Interesting thought, I did do some work with DSRC systems for Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication, but DSRC is still pretty rare. Back during Obama’s presidency the OEMs seemed to just be exploring a bit and waiting to see if it became a mandated safety system, but that never materialized.
These days the market seems to be moving towards Cellular Vehicle to Vehicle on 5G ( peer-to-peer), but once these techs have more adoption I think it’s more likely that the car would connect to a dedicated piece of infrastructure that would relay with the cloud. Despite there being movement towards having more computing power in vehicle, I.M.O. the OEMS are too conservative on spending for computing power, so I don’t see a future where the cloud is other cars. If cars still exist in 20 years, I would be amazed if vehicle networks weren’t ubiquitous for safety though.
I’m a software developer. I work in automotive and do a bit of everything from embedded programming to cloud based software.
I wish them both an abscence of munchies
From the article, it sounds as though this isn’t something a normal user should be worried about. They said the security researched believe it targets a Linux distribution used by the Indian government, and the phishing/malicious links seem intended to target Indian officials.
Wow. Literally saying the quiet part out loud - “Some random bullshit I just made up that hardly resembles what you said”
Sorry, just to make sure I’m understanding, are you saying here “I have to think that the people who wrote and approved this report knew full well that it was inaccurate” that you think they lied, but that thats okay?
All advertising is media, not all media is advertising 🤷♂️
If they were being so careful to use everything at their disposal, then how did they release a report tentatively exonerating Israel in such a way that it prevents the legal mandate to stop arms shipments?

Hopefully they will have more variety in more respectful presentation through a voluntary exchange with other museums. That would be the dream at least
