Katana Zero and Celeste both had great soundtracks. Persona 5’s soundtrack is amazing.
I need to play with the controls options more, but I’m wondering if this is an either/or thing where you either use the “controller” scheme or you need to completely map everything for k+m. I tried to go with what seemed to be the most popular community controls and the game alerted me that the controller had disconnected; and weirdly the menu size and layout shrunk and looked different. I’d really like to use a trackpad as a mouse to have that option along with the sticks, but if not I’ll adjust to it. I’ve run into other controller issues, like where it says to hold “select” for the journal but it only works to open the map - you can still press one of the triggers to pull up a wheel with the journal, but it seems like there’s still some bugs to work out.

Lol I’m sorry what’s that again? 17,000?!?!
Let’s see if it’s loaded! CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK. Nope.
Oh there will still be TV…just be ready for 20 different iterations of The Temptation Love Island Bachelor At First Sight is Blind or some such bullshit.
I’d say the story greatly exceeded my expectations, particularly after BotW (which kind of lowered them?). Zelda’s role in this game was simply amazing, and her sacrifice was incredible. I never really know what any of it means for purposes of a timeline or lore, but I just really loved this game and it’s story. It’s not a perfect game, but overall it feels like the best game I’ve ever played.
Yeah I might go that route; I’m 170+ hours in so just from playing the game I’m not really hurting for many resources but I’m also not sure how far I am from being able to actually take advantage of that one area. On the zappy islands right now so I think I’m close-ish but I also have been taking my time with stuff lol.
I lost the early glitch and am almost late enough in the game to use the arrow one…not sure what to do
You jump to the right and you shake a hand, then you jump to the left and you shake their hand. You meet new friends and you tie some yarn. And that’s how you do the Scarn.
I always forget to use recall…except when I forget to use ascend instead.
Thanks! I’ve used Zelda Dungeon’s map to find a couple of tricky shrines - I can’t handle it when the pad is notifying me that I’m near one, I explore several caves in the area, and it still just says “slightly above” or “slightly below” lol. I hadn’t even thought to look through the rest they have to offer :0

It’s getting used to sticks+gyro. Using the sticks for the big movements and the gyro for the fine tuning. That’s what got me through a lot of Splatoon, and then I found that system brilliant for Diablo on the Switch. I played Diablo Eternal on the PS4 and it felt like a downgrade without the gyro assist, to be honest. I haven’t used M+K for so many years (like since the original X-Wing came out) so it’s kind of tough to go back to that after so many years with a controller, but it just takes time to adjust I suppose.
There’s just so much to explore…every time I walk 5 feet in any direction I feel like I just started some other side quest lol. Maybe the perceived discrepancy in sky islands vs the depths can be explained by observing that the parts of the depths where there’s nothing really there would be the parts of the sky islands that are just sky? Haven’t played Diablo 4 yet, but have some friends that are really really into that franchise and have been enjoying it a lot.
I’m still really deep into Tears of the Kingdom. Maybe 90 hours in and still only have gone through two of the regional/sage quests, because the side quests and adventures are really a lot of fun. Exploring the depths is super cool. While the sky islands seem to make up less of the game than I thought they would, they’re still a cool part of the game and I’m still exploring, side-questing, and occasionally getting back to the main story quests. Given all of that, why did I buy Diablo II for the Switch? Because it’s nearly 70% off right now and with some credit I had it was $10 and I got a lot of playtime out of DIII.
And so will you, one day, I’m sure
