Plus an average person would have a harder time understanding what to do. Like if I want to watch a video it transparently open vlc and plays, what would happened if it fails. I know my mother would not understand she would have to close or restart vlc.
He is hitting his head against the wall hard enough to give him a brain injury.

Than some people got together to make a standard that was not tied to a closed source programs.

So to pass someone you should need to move to the left lane. In some states in the US it is also illegal to be in the left lane unneeded, and I known of cops that would use the justification of being in the left lane to pull someone over even if it not illegal.
