The level of utter derangement people have over mainstream cinema (marvel, star wars, franchise, action slop, disney remakes) being ‘tainted’ by a raceswap, or being ‘woke’ in some way is off the scales.

There are genuinely people crying themselves to sleep over the perceived quality of the entertainment equivalent of happy meals. There’s an entire caustic critic industry over it. It’s honestly pathetic how so many people have MCU Derangement syndrome.

Yeah, I made television because I didn’t think showsandmovies mod team was active. I was then headhunted to help out there. I don’t know where television stands now though even if I think it has the best name for… well, tv-posting. Whilst I agree with “showsandmovies” is an odd name as its been repurposed for TV primarily… but it seems to be the most popular and developed.

But whilst you can obviously overlap to some degree, movies and tv are just as commonly separate communities so from 4 you can get at least 2.
