I’m in Texas. Couple of years ago we went to a small town west of Fredericksburg. I saw several there and that’s the only time I’ve seen them in Texas, but i have seen two maga trucks in the city and maybe 5 in rural areas. I was in Dana point, CA this summer and I saw several hats there. Weird, but I’m in a pretty blue bubble. 80 percent of the yard signs around me are blue. Well…80% of the house with signs have Harris/Walz. 20% of the houses with signs have like a dozen signs out.

I tried bluesky (bs?) for 5 minutes. Clicked one thing, saw the comment “Sunsets are my love language,” and realized that these are not my people.

I got my cushy mattress cover back from the cleaners yesterday and made my bed. All afternoon I was looking forward to getting into it. Nice dinner with my honey, bottle of wine, get ready for bed, WTF!!! Through the waterproof (ha!) cover that i keep on the bed, through the bedspread, through the sheets, into the mattress cover that i just paid $35 to have cleaned!!!

I get left side migraines that last a day or two; ice picks behind an ear that last a few seconds - worse if I’m going between hot/cold areas a lot like in/out of buildings; and ocular migraines, usually if I’ve been upside down - looks like I’m looking through camo mesh for awhile and then a dull headache for a few hours. I mostly use cbg, water, and a little caffeine; then Aleve and Tylenol; then maxalt.

We were just taking about those today. My husband had aTRS-80. I had a C64 - played BC’s Quest for Tires for hours!

I have an air popper for work and I have a whirly pop at home. I love the ease of the air popper, but the whirly pop is far better and gives you a chance to play with different oil, temps, etc.

I had Twitter but only used it for following music venues to see upcoming events and bars for happy hour updates. I have a Mastodon account but only played with it for a few minutes because i didn’t really get it. I don’t understand following a person. What can one person have to say that i would care enough about to download an app. What am i missing?
