Not to mention HIDs can be just as bright… Which was first introduced on the 1992 BMW 7 series…
Tbf a lot of things that people did by hand in the past would be unthinkable for a lot of modern people as to how to achieve it without CAD etc.
There’s dozens of us!
Can melatonin even cross the blood brain barrier? Caffeine definitely can…
Now they’ll be plugging thier second and third channels too 😅
Yeah I’m not saying they didn’t edit it, but rather the master footage they were editing was on vhs or similar. I guess it’s probably quite likely they would’ve had some sort of better quality magnetic tape rather than vhs come to think of it though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Some was 16mm but probably mostly shot straight to vhs:

And the bbc was notoriously bad at not losing archival footage of tv shows
But you’d need a higher velocity to orbit closer…
Why would you need to entirely cancel the earths orbital velocity, surely you just need to cancel a tiny bit of orbital velocity?

Even products from reputable companies can malfunction
That’s true, and always best to look up reviews and analysis of the design, most wouldn’t fail in such a catastrophic way if one of the sensors were to malfunction. But yeah, scooping it manually is definitely the safest option.
There are much safer designed ones from reputable companies, these ones are drop shipped ones where they’ll put anyone’s logo on them, and have a very poorly thought out design.
Gotta force people to use the existing ones first, otherwise when planning more people will complain that no one will use it.

They should install automated blinds like some high end luxury cars have except make them out of that silvery windscreen sunshade stuff.
That’s true for professionals, but if you’re doing some light DIY the cost of the tools is probably more significant than the inefficiencies. Also corded stuff is generally so much cheaper, especially second hand, that it won’t even matter if you have to replace some of the ones you’re using frequently with cordless, and then at least you have a backup if you forget to charge it or run out of battery.
Maybe upgrade to cordless if you find it’s needed later or see one for cheap.
Just use corded except for the hand drill.
I found it sometimes useful when I first started using it, but seems like it’s getting worse. It’s also annoyingly inconsistent, sometimes generates the right thing, then you go to another file to make a similar change and it does something completely useless…
