Wow she looks a lot like my cat down to the small white tips in her rear legs and the missing ear tip. Does she also have a white tip in her tail?
(When we adopted him about a year ago this white spot was smaller like your cat’s)
I had to get one during covid lockdown since I wasn’t going to the office and staples messed up my jobs most of the time (and it wasn’t cheap). I got a laser all-in-one and got knock off toner from Amazon and it works great and I got it for less than $90

Got it without knowing a bit of English, took me a lot to realize that dialog was important sometimes and it took me several days to figure out how to teach and use the HMs. Later my dad got me the official guide so I could follow the pictures and use a dictionary to figure out some words
Not anymore, it stopped working a while ago

My PC didn’t support boot from CD, so I had to use about 6 WinXP floppies just to load the necessary drives to install from the CD. Good times
I think we also had the Win 95 and 98 installallers somewhere although I learned how to do it when upgrading from 98 to ME

We were working on a project and the software team was located there. When the floods happened we didn’t hear anything from them for a few days. A middle manager sent a very angry email to them complaining that we would not be able to make the milestones if they didn’t work during that time and he actually asked us to send an email every few hours asking for updates (we all ignored the order except for one guy)
Thankfully upper management and the CEO office knew better and sent a support email to them and I believe they reprimanded the other manager.
After a few days we learned that some employees actually lost their lives and the office itself was affected and they’re were not able to return to work for a few weeks

They need to get a certificate for stuff that is covered under USMECA and iron parts pay 25% on top of any other tariffs. They have an office close to the border that checks which tariffs are in effect at that time because the official publication can’t keep up
criticon@lemmy.cato World News@lemmy.world•Canadians required to register with U.S. government if in country at least 30 daysEnglish2·3 months agoThis is probably “newly” enforced but if they fly they should automatically receive an I-94 at immigration and I’d they enter by car they need to specify to the agent that that are staying more than 30 days or travelling more than ~50 miles from the border (I’m not sure about the distance) and apply for an I-94 at the border crossing, it’s the same rule for Mexicans, the difference is that the South border has checkpoints where you can’t cross with a visa without an I-94
Many who fly would have already received the required I-94 form, and they don’t have to register if they’ve previously submitted it. Most driving to the U.S. aren’t handed an I-94
Aldi’s less than $2, I think $1.50 or so
Can’t you just upgrade to the next release? (It’s been more than 10 years since I installed/used Ubuntu)
