I’ve been pretty stingy with concert tickets but I realized that I really cherish whenever I see someone live that I like and it’s a good investment for my mental health, not the same as spending 80 bucks partying. Will have seen 6 bands this year and so far have thoroughly loved every concert.

Wichtiger Punkt. Ich finde Schweiger und Schweighöfer sind keine schlechten Schauspieler, nur ihre eigenen Filme sind Grütze. Aber wenn man sich anguckt, was die einspielen kann ich ihnen nicht mal die zu sehr verübeln.

Ich finde Resident Evil und Fantastic Four sind absolut endschuldbar. Der Mann war Produzent und hat sicherlich gut verdient an den Filmen. Hat da ja nicht geschrieben oder Regie geführt, also für die Qualität der Filme wird er wenig Schuld tragen. Vor allem wenn man sich anschaut, was Paul Anderson und Tim Story sonst so für Filme gemacht haben.

A few things I’ve encountered so far:

• I can’t submit/post anything. Is this normal? https://imgur.com/pHeOIm5

• It would be nice to be able to have settings apply app-wide and not be user-specific. It’s workaroundable with backing up settings through one account and restoring from the second one but a native solution would be nice to have.

• Hidden posts only seem to apply to the feed and not carry over when viewing specific communities.

• Didn’t find any way to search comments.

• Not receiving any notifications.

Ultra pricing was similar for reddit IIRC. Removing ads is $20, Sync for Reddit Pro was cheap years ago, this is different

If you want, you can do a search and replace of “lemmy.world” with “lemmyserver” in the code.

Yeah, totp isn’t supported. Two workarounds, both of which include some work on your side:

1. bypass reddit usage by the sxriot:

• copy the link to your multireddit from old.reddit/subreddits. Now you have all your subreddits.
• Paste them into a text editor
• delete everything up until and including /r/, do search and replace replacing + with ‘,’ (including the apostrophes).
• At the beginning, add [’ and at the end add ']. You should now have [] brackets and within all your subreddits in apostrophes and separated by a comma.
• Copy all that and paste it in the script in line 267 so it reads :

subs = [‘subreddit1’,‘subreddit2’,etc]

• Comment out lines 252-256 by adding # to the beginning of the line.
• Run the script and it should work.

2. use totp/mfa:

• enable change DEBUG=0 to DEBUG=1 at the top of the script.
• comment out lines 90-93 and 255 by adding # to the beginning of the line
• in line 94 change “time.sleep(3)” to “time.sleep(60)”
• run the script. Now you should see a chrome window open and do stuff. Once you get to the reddit page, login how you normally would and wait. You have 60 seconds to do this and from there on the script should run normally.

Yeah, probably. I just try to make stuff cross-platform when it’s not something that’s probably only used on windows machines. Plus I’m trying to get better at python

That’s a fair point. In this case your lemmy.ml community would also be subscribed to, if it’s any consolation.

It would need to be edited a bit, but overall it should. The main issue I think are the selectors for the login fields on kbin. Might try to implement it when I get some more time
