Welp I guess I don’t have bills now. No electric bill, no water bill, no car loan, no phone and internet bills, nope. Captain_aggravated says so.

What are we realistically supposed to do? Fax dollar bills to people?
Yea I’m sure the regime would tolerate that.
I don’t think they understand why this would be a terrible idea and are just hung up on the fact they want it and we don’t have it.
Hospitals would likely be fine with it. The health insurance industry would not though and would pressure the hospital to cut you off. It’s illegal. But they would do it anyway. You would need serious fuck you money to change this. And even then, probably a lot of Luigis too.
Well I would be playing over the wired network with an appleTV4k in the living room. I don’t game much at all but there are a few upcoming games I want to enjoy. Is there a list somewhere of which games dislike VMs?
My concern with CPU transcoding is it just won’t be able to keep up with all the concurrent streams whereas a GPU will do so effortlessly. Intel GPUs have the best encoders second only to Apple. AMD…has the worst.
That’s actually a good point, even if a bit macabre. Luigi took out a health insurance ghoul. Business majors doom us all. I’m not the only one to draw that conclusion.
I dont see a way out of this mess without people dying so I dont let myself have a gun. But not everyone who thinks this way places the same shackles on themselves.
So why isnt that more common?
I see that as literally the worst thing he could do right now. It would just seem more suspicious, even uniting the conspiracy theorist crowd with the normies against him.
Exactly. When we do it, it’s a crime. When the regime does it, it suddenly cute.
It’s possible I’m wrong about this. I’m just worried. I can’t see anything good coming from tying into the US government in any way right now.
Please explain
Exactly. The problem with having to meet certain criteria for being able to vote is who gets to set that criteria. We would end up with “black people have to guess the number of bubbles in this bar of soap” all over again.
Just a little apology to anyone who read, I definitely rambled on here. I’m overrun with ideas and just don’t know how to trim this all down
They can redefine why that membership means at any time.
“If we can just get rid of all the humans, I’ll have a machine that prints me free money!”
This is all that the AI push is about. It really is that stupid. Nobody is going to ever pay for AI if they aren’t employed anymore.
Oracle?! You have money and power and everyone hanging on you and you chose ORACLE?!
How can anyone take this seriously?!
Look at an old colorful iMac running an early version of Mac OS X. The decisions made in its appearance were unnecessary but pleasant. The aqua interface was functional but pretty. It played with textures in fun ways that weren’t distracting, like pinstriping in menus that matched the machine itself, shiny jelly buttons and icons that looked more alive and interesting. While it can be said that they leaned in too heavily to this sometimes (brushed metal and stitched leather were…a lot) the overall experience was engaging. People were trying new things and there was variety, even from a company demanding a uniform market like Apple.
Now look where we are in 2025. We have Liquid Glass, which is just loud and in my way, inefficient and less functional. We have AI everywhere which does everything we could already do but without any accountability or responsibility so there’s no consequences when it fucks up like if a human did. We have companies competing against eachother to see who can most effectively suck the life out of their customers rather than who can make the most appealing product the get customer buy in.
Nobody cares about the consumer anymore. It’s all just a big money laundering operation for shareholders. Business majors ruined the world.
It doesn’t help that the prices charged by providers are never what they expect to actually be paid BY INSURANCE COMPANIES if you are paying yourself, oh boy, you gotta pay the entire thing but and insurance company only has to pay the “allowed amount”. So providers have to pretend there is a discount for members of insurance companies by creating an imaginary price for the uninsured to compare it to.
Healthcare is all Kohls pricing.
That’s correct. Some of them don’t.
