Great Idea! I keep forgetting to. I don’t really mind being spied on by the Chinese since they already have their finger in many other pies I like to eat…and upon writing this I realized how foolish I am!
gone too soon.

Wouldn’t you need to trust shady certs to do this? I’m surprised they could even MITM in this day and age unless they just damn included sus certs in your cacerts.
Opera cons notwithstanding, Opera One is really nice as a browser.
Firefox itself has some UI quirks that can cause a bit of friction.
Chrome always feels like it just works, but I rely on Google’s ecosystem frequently.
Very cool write-ups! Helps to see a dissenting point of view sometimes.
The M1/M2 Mac Mini is really nice.
There’s likely lessons to be learned from both sides so it may be best to keep them together in one place.
Awesome, thanks!
Sorry if this is not exactly an enterprise network post orz.
Gotta start somewhere right?
I think the older crowd use it now. I have a colleague who describes themselves as one lol.
I think the Official subreddits are what will keep Reddit propped up.
I think this might be due to the algorithms for sorting comments since there always seems to be too many meaningful comments but low upvotes to signal quality to others. More specifically I think it’s harder to go viral here.
Might be a case of “grass is always greener.” I feel like more eyes and engagement happens for my posts and comments on Reddit. Over here it feels empty yet full, which is weird.
I wonder if more Microsoft properties will follow suit.
I think Lemmy’s Fediverse is harder to censor as well? They have a sprawl of domains that can federate to censored ones.
Maybe this is not intentionally malicious but some sort of rate-limit or caching issue?
Some Reddit communities are still flourishing so I use both!
Who will be accountable for abuse in the future? How does legal apply to cross-federated occurrences?
How easy is it to wipe or fake SMART data?
8 Years+ due to being an account-less lurker. Still use for official subreddits and occasional boredom. I guess having twice the content is also fine.
