I didn’t mention third parties and will not be casting a vote for president at all as I believe the problem is regime wide. I agree that comedy is an area that rarely ages well. If you look at the old post 9/11 HBO comedy spots on MAX they are atrociously racist against middle eastern people to the point where I don’t think they should be available or at least should be labeled history and not comedy.

According to the latest gallup data about 27% identify with each of the two major parties and about 43% as independent (of major parties).

Academia only really rewards novelty, but the scientific method is supposed to be a slow slog towards the truth with lots of redundancy and endless cycles of minor tweaks that in turn force you to tweak theories that connect so that our picture of the world maintains its internal coherence
