Ha. My parents died about 4 years ago. I had them both cremated. Due to covid and just life in general, they’re still on a bookshelf. I’m 51, married and have 3 kids. I still live with my parents too.

I tell folks my parents moved to Kentucky while I was in college and they are still there. I don’t always mention that my dad died and is buried there as of a few years ago because it’s awkward and I don’t know how to.
