Doesn’t some Disneyland parks ironically have shuttle buses going around their parking lots?

Like, their parking lots are so big that getting to the entrance still requires taking a bus after leaving your car in the pile.

If I ever visit one of those parks, it’ll be in Paris, where there is a train station just by the park.

If only there was a way we could fit double the cars, maybe even triple in a smaller plot of land.

I really don’t get how America survives with the lack of parking garages. It saves space, giving room to more nature. It saves walking, considering USians are generally considered less fit.

All the large parking lots really bothered me when I was there. Most are empty most of the time, and look like post apocalyptic wasteland.

America is so big that they basically waste money on their precious land without foresight. Empty plot of land with line is cheaper than a multistory parking garage, hence it’s an unwalkable hellscape most of the time. There’s tons of video talking about all these sprawl and minimum parking space.

Lol I never really though of it like that. That is almost morbid, isn’t it?

That system is more commonly used at airports throughout the US, and I believe it’s widespread internationally, too. Why the fuck don’t we just have frequently running trains that have a stop at airports? I know my local airport technically has a bus service, but they only move directly between there and downtown (an hour away) and only during specific times of day.

A local parking lot to me recently needed to add more spaces, but of course, they were already occupying all the space they possibly could. So, what did they do? They made the spaces narrower and labeled them “compact” LOL. So now, the guy that double parks his giant ass truck in one of those spots will take up one and a half spaces, and people naturally just don’t use the half space that’s left. So instead of having more spots, you end up with a whole bunch of double parked compact spots used by XXL Fords.

Big brain ideas over here y’all.

Lol, now that’s thinking. Concrete block walls just wide enough to let a Prius through. I bet the truckbrians would love that so much.

Lol, I’m picturing a pissed off F250 driver, staring at the tiny spots he can no longer pull into, fuming, “What in tarnation? How am I supposed to park my mega truck in those tiny spots???” heehee
