I am a healthcare worker and I live in a red state. Today I tried to get my COVID vaccine and I was told I was not eligible.

I was shown a list of qualifying conditions and one of them is mental disorder.

I told the pharmacist that I am crazy; therefore, I am eligible for thhttps://www.cdc.gov/covid/index.htmle vaccine.

    I got it at CVS in California and it was just a box you had to tick on the intake form, “I am qualified to receive the vaccine” lol. It was in same section that asks the standard stuff like, “are you allergic to stuff in this vaccine?” etc. No conversation about any of it at all.

      I just checked that BMI over 25 qualifies, so I’m covered along 74% of the population

      Are we just being our own fucking healthcare providers now? How long do they think this absolute clown show is going to be sustainable?
