Nah. Obituaries are usually reserved for immediate family members. You don’t get that status until you’ve commited to marriage.

Im driving and you shouldn’t check your phone whilst driving? Easy to use voice to text to reply to people.

My phones doesn’t even deliver texts whilst driving unless coming through car play.

My dude, you shouldn’t interact with your phone while driving, speech to text included. tweet can absolutely wait. Text can absolutely wait. If urgent, pull aside and do your text or phone call if absolutely urgent.

There’s like a lot of reason to not do that, including phone call, because people tend to overestimate their capability of multitasking. It’s a tweet. It can wait.

I mean, that’s your choice, but you’re the one here justifying speech to text mistake which can be easily avoided by checking the text you tweet…or wait till you have the time to do it. It’s a tweet 🤷

How do you think it worked before machine learning?

Also, if getting the entire wrong set of words isn’t a bad result, your brain is mush.

I was not aware of any speech recognition tools that I have used that did not use machine learning. It’s been around for quite some time (>20 years). The Wikipedia page lists some systems from before the 1980s that didn’t use machine learning though I’m unsure whether those were ever used.
