Let’s assume the government secretly created its own flying saucers so that they could later, at the right moment, simulate an alien invasion. That is, there were no aliens on our planet, but the global conspiracy decided to use this as a trump card to distract attention from something important, like a collapse, or simply —> oh no, an unidentified flying object accidentally blew up the servers where people’s money was stored. What a coincidence!
In short, I think it was the government that invented UFOs and used UFOs, like other crap, to distract people from what’s important, like in the case of television.

Yeah, the most common problem with conspiracy theories: two can keep a secret, if one is dead.
By Occam’s razor, Alder and Popper should be merged. As should Hitchens and Sagan.
