I’m seconding this and adding to it. AI is terrible for factual information but great at relative knowledge and reframing.
I use it as a starting off point in writing research when I can’t get relevant search results. Most recently, I asked it about urban legends in modern day Louisiana and got a list for more in-depth searches, most were accurate.
It’s good at mocking up accents and patterns of speech relative to a location/time as well.
Undeterred “free speech” has a self-limiting feedback loop where the most extreme views shared by a majority of users eventually drown out minority views. Threats and insults are a kind of self moderation in communities like those, they incentivise uniformity in opinions and demographic while deterring minority/disenfranchised groups from interacting, which is exactly what happened with 4Chan. For example, as of 2025 roughly 80% of 4Chan users are male compared to, say, Tumblr’s 49%
Formal moderation, while not always well done, is a way to protect diverse opinions.

If any other elective medical procedure had a 1% chance of extreme regret, it would be considered psychologically risky, in addition to the chance of complications.
Do we know the actual numbers for how men feel about the procedure? I think that’s important if we’re debating this on the merits of joy/regret.
I couldn’t find any good sources that surveyed adult men on their parents’ circumcision choice.
It’s a little different, for most women the clit is still protected by the labia and isn’t being rubbed all day long, but I absolutely get your meaning.
Clittoral hood reductions are a thing but they’re considered cosmetic. There isn’t a lot of information on health impact because it’s never been a routine medical procedure. That said, some women do get it done because of over-stimulation from clothes because the hood is sensitive, or, inversely, to increase sensation on the clitoris.
It’s weird that the hygeine debate hasn’t come up with girls as much as boys, though. In changing babies I find girls parts marginally more difficult to “clean out.”
Still, if that procedure ever became popular for girls I would be just as much against it as I am male circumcision.
As I understand it, and have read in literature, a reconstructed foreskin doesn’t have the same sensitivity of a natural one.
But you’re right, foreskin construction/reconstruction is a thing.
Can you describe it here in the context of a banana in a stocking or would that still be NSFW?
I’m committed to ongoing self improvement, I would like to know for research purposes.
There are a number of men who are upset about it, they’ve formed advocacy groups and some use therapies and procedures to regrow foreskin.

For some balance, this isn’t very informative, but it does fairly frame the debate:
I’m a chick, responding because you mentioned some women are grossed out by intact dicks.
Every penis is different in its own weird way so whether there’s foreskin or not is just an extra thing. Size/shape/foreskin/existence doesn’t affect how I think about the person.
Any person who thinks men ought to be mutilated to be attractive is lacking in empathy and judgment, and my entire friend group thinks the same thing.
Most crime in the states doesn’t get solved, so their chances are good. They’d probably do better with a suit, though. If you’re gonna do crime, don’t look like you’re doing crime.
