As someone who was an adult when it came out but didn’t see it until years later.
It’s an adequate live-action adaptation of a classic piece of animation. With Christmas coming up you should probably go ahead and give it a watch, if for no other reason than to say you did.
Edit: for the downvotes, there’s a line in The Grinch about how Cindy Lou is so young she hasn’t even grown into her nose yet. I’m not commenting on the actor’s looks.
That’s the girl who played Cindy Lou Who opposite Jim Carrey in The Grinch Stole Christmas.
His face, to me, says “I’m old”.
