I totally get that, working previously in kitchens and being told to wear gloves…I never did because screw that

I just assumed that dealing with bombs wouldn’t be a one-time incident scenario.

… You’re comparing a kitchen (sanitary) to a bomb exploding? Gloves will not protect you from a bomb. Anything that would would be far too large and unwieldly to use when trying to diffuse a bomb.

                    Seriously?

                    1. Fiivemacs asked about why no gloves.

                    2. I said because they are useless, with the context that they would be useless when a fucking bomb goes off. Useless against a bomb. Because that’s what the post is about. A bomb. JFC. In addition the small side point is you need the fine motor control to diffuse a bomb. A bomb. Because that’s what the fucking thread is about.

                    3. Fiivemacs brings up a kitchen. A kitchen. Where 99.9% of glove use is sanitary. JFC.

                    4. And I responded wtf are you bringing up sanitary kitchen use (yes he brought it up, because 99.9% of kitchen use is sanitary) when the discussion is about gloves not helping when a fucking bomb goes off. JFC. Because that’s what this was about, gloves not protecting when a fucking bomb goes off.

Like JFC. 95% of the point was because gloves are no help when a fucking bomb goes off. The 5% side point was you also need dexterity. If he wants to talk about the 5% side point, and then talk about kitchen where 99.9% of glove use is sanitary, then he needs to be crystal clear that no he’s talking about the 5% side point, and then talking about the 0.1% side point of that which is not about sanitary, because 99.9% of glove use on the kitchen is for fucking sanitary.

JFC. Why do I bother with this. Have at your next misreading and attack, I’m out.

*And you doubled down on talking about sanitary for some fucking reason. AFTER I said “Gloves will not protect you from a bomb”. Because that’s what this was about “Gloves will not protect you from a bomb”. Holy fucking JFC. I’m out.

In my REPLY, yes I’m comparing wearing gloves, to wearing gloves because they are identical after being explained that they both decrease your fine motor movements.

I mean when they’re defusing larger bombs the suit wouldn’t help at all, it’s literally do or die
